Future Fly Fishing Buddy #2
This is Jude, grandson #2. Somehow, he did not find the fly fishing instructional video as interesting as his brother, Jonah, did (see previous post).
Protege Watching Fishing Instructional Video
This is a picture of one of my future fly fishing buddies, Jonah (grandson #1), intensely focused on a fishing instructional video called Finding Nemo. He has studied this in depth.

The Better Halves of the Guys
Here are the ladies that back up the men in the picture from yesterday. They are (from left to right) Beverly (my wife), Erin (Paul Michael's wife), and Aimee (Chris' wife). The picture was taken at Garden of the Gods.

The Guys in the Family
All of the guys are getting ready to go fly fishing and have some fun. This picture was taken over the Christmas holidays of the men in the family at Garden of the Gods (10 minutes from our house). As you can see, the weather is great, as usual. Aimee (my daughter) took this with my new camera -- my Christmas present from the family.

Colorado Fishing
It is finally spring and that means it is now time to get your fishing license renewed. April 1st is the date when the season begins for your Colorado Annual Fishing License.
A Colorado fishing license is required for anyone 16 and older who fishes in Colorado. An annual fishing license is $26 for Colorado residents and $56 for nonresidents. Seniors 64 and older who are residents of Colorado can purchase an annual fishing license for $1 -- I guess that's one good reason to be 65.

The Big Moon
I got up at 5 am on March 20th, 2011 to watch the moon set. Took some pics outside on the deck, but couldn't keep the camera steady -- 60 mph winds. It was beautiful though. Unless I get to be Moses' age, I won't see it that close in this lifetime. After some editing, I ended up with this.
